Here is this week's Wednesday Wish List. Enjoy!
1. Love this navy daisy print dress, new in at Matalan and an absolute STEAL for only £14. Wear now with your knits and on a Spring day with ballet pumps and a flower hair corsage. Here's hoping that day is not too far away...
2. Bright blue was a popular colour on the SS11 catwalks and one of my current obsessions (see the previous week's Wish List!). Tuck in a blouse and away you go. Pair with a punchy pink lip for an added flash of colour. Topshop, £34.
3. Another bright colour up next and another favourite from the catwalk: tangerine orange. Love the patent and suede fabric mix and the nod to the 70's trend in the detailing. Perfect partner to a printed blouse and jeans, get them before they go for £45, Miss Selfridge.
4. Could these be said jeans? Perfect 70's wash, high waisted and with a subtle flare. Buy now, wear again and again. Reiss, £89.
5. Last up is a great bargain beauty buy for the season. Although this is not technically a beauty blog I am rather partial to a new shade of nail polish every now and then (i.e every few weeks) and this is my favourite at the mo. Great value for just £5 at Topshop in 'Worlds End'.

Saturday Night Fashion Fever
So in case you hadn't noticed, the 70's are big news this Spring. But how should you be wearing the trend? And what key items should you be buying? I hope to put you in the right direction in the first of my SS trend reports.
70's Girl
The key shows for this trend included Marc Jacobs; who seemed to encapsulate a feel for the entire decade in each outfit and Mulberry. The colour palette is earthy: mustard yellows, burgundy, blush, caramel and beige to name but a few. Denim is retro and appears on shift dresses as well as mega flares and if you're going out at night then prints, extra wide legs, swinging skirts, batwing sleeves and block heels are the only way to do it. Accompany your look with clean, lightly tonged hair and healthy looking makeup - think Supermodel. Important looks from the catwalks included blouses tucked into paperbag waist skirts, a-line skirts with off the shoulder tops, lots of hair accessories and wide brimmed hats worn with peasant style dresses, as seen below.
Marc Jacobs
Mulberry
Temperley London
Snap up my capsule collection for a fashion forward look.
Tops - try a simple cream peasant blouse, a billowing sleeve chiffon blouse and a cropped festival-style waistcoat
Warehouse, £35
H&M, £14.99
Monsoon Fusion, £50
Bottoms - go for denim for day in the form of an a-line skirt or flared jeans and try some printed palazzo pants by night
Topshop, £35
A|Wear, £35
Dresses/jumpsuits - the favour for jumpsuits is not waning this season, this time make sure its a wide leg one with a cinched waist or try a printed long sleeve tunic dress or the simple denim shirt dress
A|Wear, £45
Dorothy Perkins, £39.50
Dorothy Perkins, £38
Accessories - hair should be accessorised with a pretty flower corsage or a classic brimmed hat and pair with a tan satchel bag and a Marc Jacobs style obi-belt
Matalan, £12
Topshop, £25
ASOS, £20
Shoes - go for stacked platforms all the way, wear with tights or socks for now
ASOS, £80

Happy Wednesday
It's Wednesday again and we are well into January now, feels like only yesterday it was Christmas and I have a feeling this year is going to fly by! So with that in mind I intend to make the most of the fabulous fashion hitting the stores this year and I hope you will do the same.
1. Starting us off this week is one of my must-have buys for Spring: a pleated knee length skirt. In a wear-with-anything shade of royal blue, this Warehouse number is begging to be worn with a white tee and ballet pumps on a sunny Spring day (when we get one). £50 at Warehouse.
2. This unique cat print tapestry bag from Urban Outfitters is up next. Once something your Nan might wear, now the perfect accompaniment to a vintage shopping trip and a falafel wrap on a Sunday afternoon. Mmmmm... Yours for £32 at Urban Outfitters.
3. I can go for months without buying an accessory of note and then one catches my eye and this is that one. This cream sash belt from Zara is just £15.99 and will look perfect belting up your new Spring shift dress.
4. Kimono style cover-ups are everywhere at the moment and I think I am developing an obsession. This oriental style one is £30 from Dorothy Perkins and would look great with a black dress and red accessories. Much more interesting than a cardigan and the draping is very flattering.
5. Finally this week I am hoping to bring a bit of Spring colour to the dull month that is January by way of this chiffon shirt from American Apparel. Comes in a variety of colours but this coral one is my favourite. Style it under a knitted jumper for a flash of colour or wear it tucked into a pair of light coloured silky shorts. Just looking at it is brightening my mood already! Snap it up for £51.

Ruffle it Up
It's always great to find a high street dress that looks like it could be designer and this week I have done just that. I loved the bright vivid colours of the Moschino Cheap and Chic SS collection and in particular this fuchsia, ruffle bottomed shift dress.
So imagine my happiness to come across a great pillarbox red version of the dress at ASOS. If you are looking for a stunning evening dress then stop the search! Get yours for £65 at ASOS and wear with some bold jewelery and a statement matching lip.

THE Wednesday Wish List
Hello, hope all your weeks are going well so far. If not, then the Wednesday Wish List is sure to put a smile on your face...
1. Starting off this week I bring you what every girl needs - a pretty dress. I saw this Monsoon Fusion dress at SS press day and loved it. Monochrome, a-line and bow detail all combine to make it your Spring wardrobe essential. Wear with tights or knee high socks now and bare legs at a Summer party. Monsoon Fusion, £60.
2. Another great Spring buy is up next. These floral ankle boots from River Island are so pretty they make me want to wear florals permanently for the next few months. Snap up your pair at River Island for £29.99.
3. This white lace waistcoat is next on the list for £28 at Dorothy Perkins. Throw it over your Winter clothes for now to straddle the seasons and wear with a summer dress come festival time.
4. I love this simple two layered t-shirt dress from Warehouse, £50. The colour is great for the Spring 70's trend and it's easy to wear for both day and night. Throw an oversized cardi over it now and wear with some cream knit ankle socks.
5. Last up this week is this stripy floral vest from River Island. Stripes and florals accompanied each other on the SS catwalks and I love the fresh colours of this vest. And who hasn't got room for another vest in their wardrobes eh?! Get yours at River Island for £19.99.

Wishing in 2011
Happy New Year to you all and welcome to the first Wednesday Wish List of 2011! Lots of exciting new posts coming up in the next few weeks and months, particularly looking forward to bringing you the SS11 trend report, if you're anything like me then trust me you're going to love it all!
But for now I bring you a few buys to make you smile in the otherwise miserable month that is January. Christmas is sadly over but the shops are preparing their amazing new collections, the beginnings of which are finding their way into your favourite high street stores as speak. With that in mind, I bring you the Wish List. Enjoy!
1. Prints are big news for Spring Summer and bird print makes an appearance in many high street collections. Get ahead with this bird print blouse from Dorothy Perkins, £24.50. Tuck into some high waisted trousers and nail the 70's look.
2. Continuing with the 70's trend, this mocha coloured jumpsuit is the perfect colour for Spring. Taking influence from the Marc Jacobs SS collection, this jumpsuit needs no few accessories except for a trusty pair of heels. Spotted on Nicola Roberts in December at the X Factor finals, it's sure to be a sellout. Tophop, £50.
3. Keen to banish your black platforms to the back of your wardrobe in time for Spring? Try these beige chiffon wedges from Linzi Shoes, just £35. Everyone knows that the wedge is the comfiest of heels and they'll go perfectly with all of the Spring shades.
4. Need a pretty dress to shake you out of the January blues? Look no further than this pink lace number from Miss Selfridge, £45. Wouldn't look out of place on current fashion icons such as Carey Mulligan and is the perfect dress to ease you into the new season.
5. Last but no means least is my favourite item from the new offering from the ever stylish Fearne Cotton. I spotted this dress on her a good few months ago at the launch and it needs to be finding its way into my wardrobe asap. Very flattering cut and I love the vintage-look print. Fearne Cotton at Very, £59.
